Bagoy’s Florist & Home is moved to be a part of some of the most momentous occasions in our customer’s lives. Flowers are an emotional business, and there’s nothing like them to commemorate, celebrate and remember. Where flowers are present, a meaningful, memorable occasion is happening. As florists, we’re more aware of that than most.
After funeral consultations we often send flowers with the family, something simple, for the person in charge. It’s such a heavy time, and we want them to have something pretty to hold and reflect on. A simple way for them to know they are not alone.
We love the woman that came in and ordered Thanksgiving flowers in the summer. She was hosting a traditional feast for her family before she began aggressive cancer treatments, knowing it was going to be a long haul.
We love the man who sent the nursing staff flowers because they brought him back to life, and he was grateful for their care.
We love the guy who needed flowers to fit in his backpack as he was riding his motorcycle to see his girlfriend for a picnic on her lunch break.
We have this long time customer, 50 years at least. Married with Bagoy’s roses and adding a rose per year every anniversary. We bought his 50th rose arrangement and celebrated as he picked them up for his wife with hugs and congratulations.
This is how flowers matter.
