We call it the powerhouse pothos, for good reason! This beautiful plant will provide hanging green vines that are not only aesthetically pleasing but easy to care for. You can trust that you have received a quality plant from Bagoy’s Florist & Home – and once you bring the pothos home, you’ll have no trouble keeping it happy. Just remember, it is not a plant that enjoys extremes. It does not thrive in darkness or direct sunlight, meaning that it is perfect in hallways, bedrooms, or living rooms. It also doesn’t like to be too wet or too dry. Moist soil should stick to your finger when you touch it, but your finger should not feel wet. Pothos plants do not need fertilizer, but they may need pruning, so cut with scissors near the stem base, keeping the stub above the soil line to prevent rotting.
Phalaenopsis orchids are present with lovely butterfly-shaped petals. To keep your orchid looking luxurious, place it in a moderately bright location, such as a windowsill. Water the orchids when they begin to dry out, usually every 7-10 days. You’ll want to fertilize your plants with a product made specifically for them, and if you do repot, use a fresh mix of soil and orchid fertilizer. The Phalaenopsis orchid is a fairly forgiving plant, but if you see spotting it may be dealing with illness. The first place to look to solve the problem is to ensure that roots are not saturated.
