Given the recent developments surrounding the spread of COVID-19, the Bagoy's Florist family wants to assure you that we are taking every step possible to ensure the health and safety of our clients, employees and partners.
We are closely monitoring the situation and are adhering to all CDC protocols and guidelines. We are regularly sanitizing all work stations, shared spaces, and products. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have no reports of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by fresh products like flowers, but we remain vigilant in working to ensure safety remains the top priority.
As an additional precaution, we have implemented no-contact deliveries. Our delivery drivers will contact the recipient in advance to arrange delivery, leaving the delivery at the door (or other specified preferred location) and will not be hand-delivering arrangements to our recipients. This is in an effort to keep our customers and our staff safe and to further respect social distancing practices.
Our top priority is to keep the entire community safe, and we will continue to assess and address the situation as it evolves. We thank you for your business and look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Everyone is experiencing chaos right now in day to day life. Flowers bring happiness and joy to all situations. There is no better time than now to send flowers to a loved one or friend who may be stuck inside working from home, raising kids, or even self-quarantining. People need flowers during this time.

Bagoy's has put the following policies in place to keep our customers safe:
1. Designers and Sales Staff - Routinely wipe down all workstation surfaces, multiple times each day with disinfectant wipes or spray.
2. Store Staff - Routinely wipe down counter areas with disinfectant wipes or spray, as well as use hand sanitizer as needed.
3. Delivery Staff - Do not ask for signatures from customers, and use hand sanitizer after each delivery to help prevent the spread of germs. In addition, we have now transitioned to no-contact delivery. We will contact the recipient prior to delivery and let them know we are going to leave the flowers on their porch.
While our new policies go much beyond these items (much more related to employee safety), we feel it necessary for our customers to know the steps that we are taking to keep them safe, and prevent the spread of Coronavirus to the best of our ability.
We know how important it is to have flowers, plants and gift baskets delivered for every special occasion - birthday, get well, anniversary, new baby, or sympathy. At this time, we are still offering our standard delivery runs. Our delivery staff is taking additional precautionary measures and sanitizing their hands and tools between each stop.
We have implemented a no-contact delivery policy for all deliveries. Our delivery drivers will contact the recipient in advance to arrange protected locations for arrangements to be left.
At this time, we continue to deliver flowers daily to businesses, hospitals, rehab facilities, and assisted living communities unless individual facility protocol prohibits it. We are abiding by the policies and procedures established by each facility.
Hospitals are limiting visitors, and by extension, deliveries. For facilities still accepting deliveries, we are limited to delivering to volunteer and reception desks. We are not allowed to deliver to your loved one's room directly.
Yes. We make sympathy deliveries all over the Anchorage area every day. Until we hear differently from local funeral homes and churches, we will continue to make these deliveries.
Please provide as much information as you have regarding the visitation or service in the Special Delivery Instructions field when you place your order online. We will also attempt to call the funeral home or church to verify these details. If you find that the details of an order already placed have changed, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make the changes on our end and get your gift delivered.
